LaRich Arts Launches Brand new website
Created on Wednesday, 16 October 2013
Local creative entertainment company LaRich Arts has launched a new website to showcase their talented young performers and the services they provide. The website is the first of a series of official launches of the different brands that are managed under the umbrella of La Rich Arts.
LaRich Arts is the umbrella under which two entertainment brands operate. The Movement for Arts Dance and Entertainment (M.A.D.E) manages young dancers, singers and DJs and is also responsible for the popular Spoken Lyrics music and poetry events that drew crowds to the Philipsburg Jubilee Library in July and August.
Funtopia, the second brand under LaRich Arts, manages local spectacles such as the Contemporary and Cultural Statues and Dancing Clowns, which have been popular at events ranging from children’s birthday parties to cultural celebrations.
LaRich Arts is the brainchild of local artist and entrepreneur Lucinda Audain who has been dabbling in fine art ever since her childhood. She says that it was her goal to start a creative arts business to show that it is possible to follow one’s dream and earn a living doing so. “Most young people looking for careers in the entertainment industry are discouraged because many of our parents believe that there is no way to make a living doing so. Through M.A.D.E. and Funtopia not only am I proving them wrong, but I’m also giving young people in the community a chance to get started towards that dream” she said.
